چکیده
Background: Long-term use of denture causes significant changes in its supporting structures and can lead to constant pain discomfort. Soft lining material extensively used field prosthodontics improve fit conventional acrylic resin for restoring optimal health abused oral tissue showing degenerative change. Method: Specially designed metal mould fabrication 80 blocks. Applying soft liner between 2 sample using grouping these samples immersion solution cleansers. These were then divided into groups 40 each applying variety group (L1 L2). Keeping specimen cleanser per day 8 h keeping 3 times a day=equals days treatment. Thus, the 30 days×3 exposure=amount 90 (3 months) exposure tensile bond strength measured universal testing machine (Instron). ANOVA test is applied. Results: Tensile Viscogel with based decreased more Polident followed by Efferdent, Clinsodent least affected water which statistically significant. Conclusions: The clinician should choose considering microbiologic properties cleansers aspects such as compatibility liners.

Tensile Bond Strength between Soft Liners and Two Chemically Different Denture Base Materials: Effect of Thermocycling.
PURPOSE The bond strength of soft denture liner to a recently introduced denture base resin after thermocycling has not been compared to traditional denture base materials. The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of thermocycling on the tensile bond strength of soft denture liners to two chemically different denture base resins, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and urethane dim...
متن کاملEffect of Beverages on the Hardness and Tensile Bond Strength of Temporary Acrylic Soft Liners to Acrylic Resin Denture Base
STATEMENT OF PROBLEM Two potential problems commonly identified with a denture base incorporating a resilient liner are failure of the bond between acrylic resin and soft liner material, and loss of resiliency of the soft liner over time. Since patients may drink different beverages, it is important to evaluate their effects on physical properties of soft lining materials. PURPOSE The objecti...

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM One of the most clinical challenging issues in prosthodontics is debonding of soft liners from the denture base. PURPOSE The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare tensile bond strength between soft liner and heat-cured acrylic resin when immersed in two different types of denture cleanser and distilled water, at different period of times. MATERIALS AND METHOD In...

Background. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of Corega and 2.5% sodium hypochlorite cleansing agents on the shear and tensile bond strengths of GC soft liner to denture base. Methods. A total of 144 samples (72 samples for tensile and 72 for shear bond strength evaluations) were prepared. The samples in each group were subdivided into three subgroups in terms of the clean...
